David...there are no words. I am so very sorry. I can't imagine what you must be going through. I don't know what to say. It is just unbelievably awful. I meant what I said earlier today about the family of this forum. Today we all lost one of our own. I've never met you nor Maxwell but I grieve with you and for you over the sudden loss of your beautiful boy. I am so so sorry!!!

David, I read and reread the "Maxwell has a tumor" thread - and I just can't believe it. What could have happened?

I can't type for tears and just don't even know what to say. Maxwell had a wonderful home, an incredible dad and lots of love. I just can't imagine how shocking this must be for you.

I would like to thank everyone for all your kind words. I know you all cared for Maxwell. I am between being numb and a basket case. I am so totally shocked and sad. This morning was really rough, no walkies, I heard Allie calling for Maxwell and I just lost it. Maxwell has a waterdish by my bed and I cleaned it out an just lost it. I am losing it now. I just miss him . The vet called and offered his condlences this morning, He thinks perhaps it was a blood clot that got loose. I thought it could have been bloat but Maxwell didn't have pain. I need to arange for his cremation and get him home as soon as possible. The other dogs are semi subdued, even the Yoshi monster. My kids are sad but Aldo and Mikimoto is their dogs, Maxwell was my baby. There is a huge void left by Maxwell. I don't blame the vet any more than I blame myself. Maxwell was with me for only 2 years but in that time, he was loved. In time the pain will decrease but my love for mr dudes never will.
