Smurf is 10years old today, she has been a very special chow chow, has a wonderful nature, and although getting older now and not as active, she is still a lady very much on the go.
From when we first got you as a tiny 3 month old puppy, when you flew down from Johannesburg, when you and Alex chewed up the granadilla vine, and learnt to love each other, the day you both chased the pigs, and I was so cross with you, the one puppy you ever had, together Zena, who has a bit of both of you in her, Smurf, you were nearly a champion, when we had to stop showing you as you did not like the judges, much like your brother Sezer. You were breed out of an Canadian import, and like Sezer you were my American chow. Long live and hope you have many more happy years, with us. Love you Smurfie,
