Zhuyo's Day

Post by Judy Fox »

Today is Zhuyos day and Milly and Mabel have asked Fred to hoist the Big Californian Bear up high on the flagpole in our garden.
Zhuyo is no longer with his Mommy Lou and Sister Pooh Bear and little brother Tigger but I am sure he is looking down from The Happy Hunting Ground on his family where he knew he was much loved - with all the other family Chow Chows who crossed the Rainbow Bridge before him.
(We hope he spots the flag flying and wags his lovely furry tail.)

Oh, Thank you soooo much!!

Now if Zhu can only come down and teach his little brother some manners! PB has tried, but I know he exasperates her. This Tigger is very naughty, very very naughty indeed!

No. He is a naughty little Tigger. "Mischievous chowling boy" describes the cute things he does... bring snails in for me, brings a leaf he's found on the ground inside for me, comes to me w/his tennis ball or any of his toys in his mouth to play fetch and as often as he can to me, pulls off a levelour blind and chases PB with it. BUT, chewing off mommy's heel taps from her favorite high heels is naughty! Going into the den and finding a chew toy that isn't his but is mommy's special notepad box with a display frame and chewing it to bits is naughty, AND, once he finishes chewing the heirloom China cabinet to the ground, I do think you will agree, he is naughty. He's just plain naughty! Oh, I wish my Zhu was here to just say one big "woaf" and I'm sure Trigger would straighten up. I have Zhu's voice on a memory recorder. When I play it for Tigger, he settles down. PB gets sad. So, I know one big "woaf" would do the trick! Twigger = Naughty!

Oooooooooh! We are sorry - we would like to Woaf at him for you - I(Mabel) would take him by his back leg and flip him over on his back and I (Milly) would nip his tassle.!!

 Troy de Bad Boy here: It's great to know that there are others like me...great work Tigger!

However, sometimes I wish I could have met Zhuyo but I wasn't born yet. Sheena met Zhuyo at the 2006 Chowfest and always tells me about the wise, handsome and unforgettable Chow Zhuyo!!! Harumph! I just might show Sheena how wise I am too...oh, oh, did I just admit that I would change? 26 months is too young to have a senior chow moment! Well, maybe we can just show how smart we really are after all Tigger...in due time.

Oh Milly and Mabel, you are so kind to be big sisters to Tigger, but he is swift and his cuteness will fool you. And then he will kiss you and kiss you and kiss you till, well... you may just end up finding a quite place to snooze like PB does and "say, mommy brought you home, you are mommy's responsiblity. I am taking a nap."

Troy, de good boy, you don't remember that you met Zhuyo at ChowFest. Remember, you whispered something naughty in his ear and he gave you one big "woaf" and you went on your back and surrendered... don't you remember? Ask Sheena, she knows.

I am so sorry I am a day late. We think of you often Zhuyo. Like the others said, you touched many lives.

I think those balloons were so amazing, it was such a wonderful thing to do. If I remember correctly, Miss PB released hers first so it would get straight to Zhuyo.

Big hugs to you Lou, and miss PB and Tigger too!

Troy here, OH BOY...I DO remember NOW...guess Zhuyo was so strong and powerful in his woof that it knocked it right out of my memory! Or I'm having more senior moments that I thought.

Ah Zhuyo...you will always be remembered!
