Thanks Chris because earlier I had typed and said what the heck is that concoction? It looks like something someone would send back at a Chinese restaurant but then I erased it thinking I better not make fun of Lou's fine home cooking.

AY! WaTCh it!!! That's some fine gourmet cooking for Mr. N!!!

Ha! It's just a picture I got from the internet from a fancy-schmancy restaurant in Chicago. That my Denny's eatting friends is roasted beef marrow. You spread the marrow on the crusteenies (that's the toasted bread that's stuck on top of the bone marrow) and its suppose to taste out of this world! All I know is when I make baked marrow bones for my babies, they LOVE it! They made me make them for ChowFest and Mr. N and Shiloh said they enjoyed it.

FYI, that dish alone would probably cost close to $50.00! Also notice that there are 3 different types of salt... oh, boy, must I also teach culture to you two?!

That's ok Lou I've spent $50+ dollars for a plate of bones with a mustard design in the middle also, On Maui you spend $500 a plate for a dried up fish head on top of a bowl of rice. None of these meals were my Choice, I'm beef all the way but After having a fine gormet 5 star meal like that I always head straight for the nearest Mcdonalds.

I'm with you on that one! MickeyD's is my spot! Ate there in Oahu, the Czech Republic and London! Needed to fulfill my french fry cravings.

Perhaps I should have posted a cheeseburger for Mr. N. Mr. N, would you like a birthday cheeseburger instead? Zhu loved cheeseburgers. PB dreams of them... would you like one?
