Kodi is 5 (ish) !!

Today is Kodi's anniversary of her Gotcha Day (adopted 10/22/03 at the approximate age of 2).

It's a beautiful day today (yes folks, the low 70's in the Fall!) so we'll go to the local dog park, followed by presents.

Got her a Hide a Squirrel (thanks to those here for the recommendation!) for one of per presents yesterday, had to return to the store to exchange it for another one as - it had (gasp!) NO SQUIRRELS! Also got her a giggly wiggly ball which she heard in the bag, so it was an early present.

She'll get Nutro deserts of Pumpkin and carrot cake too.

We love her soooo much!

Where do they sell GOTCHYA DAY cards? Does Hallmark have them.

Speaking of Gotchya the mouse that moved in is to fast for Pekoe every once in awhile like just now the mouse runs in front of her and Pekoe has a stroke, she's going crazy right now trying to move furniture around to get the mouse. One mouse is ok but if any more move in I may need to borrow Kodi to help Pekoe.

Kodi'd LOVE the job! She's "taken out" two field mice in the last few days. My neighbor is very happy about that (it's mice from their garage and yard). They'd like to borrow her, alot cheaper than the pest control they hire.

I wanted to clarify that I am not happy with her being such a mouser, but she has always had such HIGH prey drive and it can't be tamed, I know. I felt SOOOO bad for the little mouse she got on our walk last week. Kodi struck on it, but didn't kill it, so it died a miserable slow death which I felt absolutely terrible about!! Just wanted to clear that up in case anyone thinks I think this is cute. I don't.

We are sorry to be late, But we couldn't get to the computer. JerryO does all our typing because he is too cheap to buy a computer with keys big enough for our paws to fit, and he went away and left us at Dr. Gary's clinic and spa. At least Dr. Gary didn't take anything out this time. It is so hard to get good humans these days. Congratulations on finding Swancin!

Did you like you your hide-a-squirrel????? I still love, love, love mine. I can't belive the first one you got didn't have the squirrels in it. Yikes, tragedy if you ask me. I'm glad you got a perfect one though.
