JR' s Anniversary
I know that I should post this in Anniversaries but this is such a big weekend for JR!!
It was 12 years ago on Memorial Day Weekend that I brought home my gangly, scruffy 7-8 month old black chowboy from the APL.
They had found him near a dumpster in the not so great part of Cleveland and I had just lost my 1st boy, MoMo. I am not quite sure that I was ready for another one...but this little black boy sure was...so the rest is history!
We have been through thick and thin together and he is still my "baby" chowboy!
Cheyenne and I are going to sing to him today...he loves his little sis so much....she has made his life complete.
I cannot imagine what life would be like without my 2 precious furkids.

Isn't it amazing how often life gives you what you need when you don't even know you need it! Congratulations JR on finding your wonderful forever home. A picture or two wouldn't go amiss of the aniversary boy and his Cheyenne. He could not have found a better place to live his life.
Re: JR' s Anniversary
Hurray for JR! We are truly blessed to have these precious souls in our lives. Happy anniversary!!!

Re: JR' s Anniversary
Thanks everyone!
The best part was having JR for my head nurse last summer when I was so ill. His care was so good that here we both are celebrating his big "gotcha" day.
Can you believe that he also doesn't have much grey on his chin and he still struts his "stuff" by giving poor Cheyenne a jump at least twice weekly and he still walks and runs like a pup!
And yes.....they both got good treats!
