a better safe than sorry forum

Post by HemiCuda »

after reading lana's storie and the general health forum, i was thinking that it might be a good idea to have a forum on what to do if your chows in need of cpr, or car accidents, hit by a car ect. obveously you would call your vet in most cases but if you couldn't get a hold of them or, in extreme cases such as lana's it was an emergency. i know none of us would ever wish anything like this to happen but, if knowldge is power,it couldn't hurt. Just kind of a how to just incase section. i just think it would be great. like a life saving forum. just a thought and has probably been suggested before but, still a thought. let me know.

I think it would be better if we made a sticky topic for this under the Health Discussions forum. There a specific topic that you feel should be made into a Sticky topic or should I start a new one?

Drowning
car accidents( if the dog is with you)
Hit and Runs( on the dog)
Heat strokes
accidental poision consumption ( antifreeze ect.)
and like a general how to addminister cpr,
check for pulse ect.
just a way to better edjucate ourselves just incase.
