Error msg...board attachment quota has been met..

Hi there, I'd like to create a new Avatar for my doggie, but I get the above listed error msg regarding board attachment quota being maxed out??

I am also getting the same error when I attempt to upload in the pics area of the forum....I was asked by a member to post some pics, but I just can't seem to do this...in the mean time, I have created an offline area for photos that I will point to.

Sorry if this has been answered a million times, but:

1. in the "pics forum", is uploading allowed directly to whatever server is hosting this site, or do we need to insert our own URL? I saw that the URL method was the only way in some areas, but in the pics site, I was wondering if there was an exception.

I am trying to get used to this posting method...I am so used to just point ,click, upload, and voila! I read the FAQs and it seems that he moderator can decide to allow uploads or force the URL method???

Auddymay's thread below will help you post photos on this forum. Most of us use either photobucket or glowfoto.

It may take a little while before the chowadmin can post your specific Avatar.

The board attachment quota HAS been met. Noone is able to attach photos directly from their computer on the site as of late. The chowadmin will need to increase our quota. Meanwhile, we all must patient and use a photo hosting site. See discussion below:

The quota has been increased, plus I deleted all orphaned attachments, so now board attachments should be working.
