This is Sharon
Your pictures are just beautiful! What an adorable baby pup he was.
All of my chowlets were either toddlers or in thr case of our newest little girl, a full grown adult, since they were all rescues and we have no idea where they came from or neither care!

He is such a handsome guy. Something I noticed on Nanuk that is also a feature I noticed on Lily Ann now that she is getting older- The band of 'mane fur' that appears as a stripe behind the front shoulder. Is this a trait of all chows? Lighter chows? I can visibly see a length and color difference than the adjoining fur...hence calling it 'mane fur'. It looks like her mane. Sorry to go on...anyway, Nanuk has the best coloration/pigmentation I've seen in a creme.

HUGS! Thanks for all the sweet comments.
The funny thing about the titty bitty pup in the truck is that we just took that yesterday, so I guess it's a big truck. He was so sly we where driving around looking at all the flooding in our area ( see my web link for pic's) and he jsut slithered through the slider in the truck and was sitting in the back sit like that is where he belongs.
The fur behind his shoulders we refer as his "cape", our other chows we had never had that, but it's one of my favorite things about him

lol...I think Mandy means the one in the toy truck...blonde that I am (was) I got confused about how you could have just taken that baby picture...ding!ding!ding!...hehe...
His cape? As good as any name! Must be a recessive gene thing. I noticed it when Arnis first posted his Old and New Chow pictures that his Old had a cape...I'm not sure if he would classify that Chow (name eludes me) as a cream or red. Color may have nothing to do with it, anyway.
