my pup is red, although he's changing color agian.

his undercoat from the top of his head all the way down to his butt has turned blue, his undercoat on his belly is light golden and his face is deep mahogany with blue. it's almost like he's changing back to this pic when he was 8 weeks old. do all these different colors make him cinnamon?

I think it makes him a Red Sable if I am correct. He was a cutie for certain!

The results are in here we go.

Red = 40% = llllllllllllllll
Cream = 22.5%= lllllllll
Black = 22.5%= lllllllll
Cinnamon = 12.5%= lllll
Blue = 2.5% = ll

It looks like the red id the most popular color owned then the cream and black tied for second, cinnamon in third and blue comes forth/

I once talked to a breeder about colors, and he told me that the reason there are so many reds (in all their tones) is that show judges prefer them over the blacks, creams and blues; because compared to the black's and blues they photograph better and the creams often have pink noses, which is a color disqualification.

Me I've owned two reds and three blacks.

This is quite true, red chows are far more popular than any other chows. Creams do tend to have a faded nose (I have no theories why, but I can say due to "proper" breeding you can breed creams with a black nose). A judge should NEVER allow colloration (unless anything other than a solid dog) to choose his judgment in the ring. It is speacifically clear and said in the A.K.C breed standard that they all colors ahll be judged on an equal bases.
