Cinnamon Update
"Mini Me" went yesterday for her 2 week check up with the Neurology Specialist. She is on medicine for elevated liver enzymes and gallbladder slug with our Vet here. She was diagnosis at the Specialist with Polymyopathy, Spinal Osteoporsis, Spondylosis and muscle disease. With the treatment he has Mini Me on she is already showing some improvement in 2 weeks. She is holding her head up more and no longer crosses her back legs when she is standing. He once again told us how she is such a sweet girl. It has been only 6 months that we have had her and she is always so good whenever she has had any testing. It makes me so happy to see her have any improvement. She is sooo spoiled, which she deserves after her rough life as a stray. I am lucky to have her come into my life.

She is around 7 years old. As for her treatment she is on Denosyl for the liver enzymes being elevated. The levels had gone down so our vet tried taking her off that, but they went back up over the normal level. She is also on Ursodiol for the gallbladder. Our Vet here is closely following her levels with blood work.
The Specialist has her on Cosequin DS, plus from a health food store he has her on Mega L-Carnitine, Coenzyme Q-10 and Vitamin B-2. She has been on the ones from the Specialist and health food store since March 29th and has already showed some improvement. We also have taken Mini Me to a Vet that also does Chiropractic work. (we did that before her first visit to the Specialist) He had did one treatment on her back leg that has a bullet fragment and at the time it seemed to help. We were given the go ahead to take the reports that are on her to the Chiropractor. So we are also going to take her back to him.
