update on Bear the chow mix

Post by nikkiaudet »

I wanted to post a link to an update on the dog Bear. He is a Chow/Shepherd mix- who was in a high kill Los Angeles shelter. Many of you on this forum were very interested in this poor guy's story and many gave support in donations and prayers. Thank you all so much and I hope you will look at his before and after photos. The difference in the look on his face speaks volumes. A happy story. Thanks!

Dear Nikki and The Beautiful, Lucky Bear,
Thanks so much for the update. He's awesome - all thanks to your rescue, dedicated love and attention. I have had your site bookmarked for quite awhile, love the other furkids too.
Keep up the good work you do. Again, thanks for letting us know about Bear. You've prepared him well for his forever home :)

What a difference from the first time I saw his picture on gragslist, locked in a cage with his face buried in the corner. Great job Nikki. To bad you can't keep him I would hate for him to ever have to go through what he has been through in his life, He has finelly found a human he can trust it will be hard for him to leave you. Anyway thanks for being there for Bear and all you have done for him.

Thanks for keeping us updated on Bear.

This is such a great story. I'm so glad to hear Bear is able to trust again and is in a happy home.
Thanks for doing this Nikki!
