thanks. he is different. he supposed to be red, both his parents were red. but the only time you see the red is when he is wet. and that dark spot on his back is real soft and straight. is that normal. he also has a black tip on his tail.

Even though his parents were red he have a higher chance of being red but he may also have a chance of being another shading of red due to his grandparents etc.

Put it like this all that is is inheritation, you can inheret anything from pysical attributes to behavior. I have hair texture like my mother, chin, eyes and eye brow. Almost everything else is my father's. I have posture like my grandfather. So I hope that was a good examlpe he could inheret his coat coloration from up to the fourth generation but he have a higher chance of iinhereting those of his parents because their blood is stronger than the grand and great grand.

You said that his tail has a black tip. Krillan uppre part of his entire tail is silver and traces of his black tip is still noticable. He also had black tips on his mane which I loved. It had enhanced his leonine appearance, but now its gone because chows chande their coat color. Now he is a red sable. Now I even cnotice he's changing now getting ed of majority of the black

You said that on his back the hair is soft and straight, the straight part correct. The only part of the coat that is suppose to be soft is the under coat. I've also notice that the coat under the neck and in the innner thigh is quite soft.

To post pics:
You should be able to go to a photo hosting site ( I like http://www.glowfoto.com/index.php and there is also http://www.imageshack.us/ ) upload your pics. Then you copy and paste one of the url codes it gives you, into your post. For glowphoto I always copy and paste the SECOND code that says to use for myspace etc. Always works for me! Here's one of Kayla sticking her tongue out at me because I gave her a bath hehe.

hope I have done it right this is a photo of my little Chrystal the smallest chow I have ever breed, only weights 15kg, and is such a very precious little girl hope you like her.

Hi all once I have downloaded some more photos to the site I will send some more this is fun and so nice to have a topic with chow photos on it, they are all so lovely and lets hope we see lots more in the future. thank you all my Sharon and Chrystal are very special people and I will try and send one of Smurf and Alex next and of course I will try and send one of Charlie, who has recovered very well from his illness, and is doing very well, once again just full of himself. I am so happy to have this little old raggamuffin still with me.
