Hello everybody. .... I am thrilled to say we will be getting a puppy at the beginning of January and I would really appreciate your advice on how to make her introduction to our existing 3 year old chow a happy and stress free experience. Many thanks

Have you gotten your new pup yet? How'd intros go? My Chow is super chill with other dogs, so it worked out well when I brought another home. All are different though, I had one Chow that was a bit grouchy with new dogs. She'd adjust eventually, but always had to keep a close eye on her at first.

Pictures are a must. ;)

You have a Smooth Applebear, that can really make all the difference.

Irfish, you don't mention whether they are same *Censored Word*, etc. That can make things more difficult, but not impossible. A 3 year old is going to be pretty established in the home, so you do want to set some boundaries. Let us know how the 1st couple weeks went.
