Chow's vulva white discharge

Hi, recently, my baby got a little white discharge from the vulva. It smells kinda like rusty metal....and the smell is quite strong. She still eats and plays normally.

Is it normal?

How old is she? She could be going into heat

Sorry for the lack of information, she's around 7 months but she has had heat around 2 months ago.

She shouldn't have any discharge it would be best to take her to the vets for a check up just to make sure she hasn't got a urine infection
