When I purchased Maggie at 7 months old she was being shown in puppy classes. She had no whiskers and now a few yrs later they are 6 or 7 inches long. Do any of you trim your dogs whiskers or you just leave them be?

I only trim before shows to give Brutus a cleaner look. They grow back pretty fast but the hardest part is to get them short enough so you can't feel the stubble.
