Rory Finishes his AKC Championship

We are so pleased to announce that Eastway's Ruaidhri of Mansfield, AKA "Rory", completed his AKC Conformation Championship Title campaign under Judge David L. Kittredge on August 22nd.

Rory had a fantastic weekend scoring Best Of Winners on both Thursday and Friday, earning his 2nd Major on Friday.

Thank you so much to Sara Gregware for handling him. You did a fantastic job with an enthusiastic Chow. He wasn't always easy, but you built a great rapport with Rory. He wouldn't have finished without you.

To Tony Raposo and Sharon Raposo, thank you for supporting Rory and for supporting Chow entries in general. Without you guys, there would be no Chow Chow majors in all of New England. Who would have guessed that the 1st time we met would have led to all the great things the North East Chow Chow Breeders Association has done, and will do in the future.

Congrats to you and Rory on his CH, he truly looks like he was happy being in the ring. It was also very nice for you to share your story from the start to the finish with everyone. Hope you share the winning photo when you get it, I'm sure everyone would love to see it.

Congratulations! I am very happy for Team Rory!

I have been checking in weekly to read this news... (I'm not very patient and almost asked you about 18 times.)

Rory is a gorgeous boy and looks very happy. Great job!!!!!!

Congratulations! You and Rory have done an amazing job in a short time. I can't wait to see how Amber comes along. You have some beautiful Chows! I'm glad you care so much about the breed and where it's going. Keep up the great work and let Rory know he has fans in Wyoming.

The timing is of little importance Sirchow, just glad to see your post. And thank you so much for your post. I have missed your input on the day to day topics. Now we consider what is next...Westminster program just released, but that seems like a longshot given the entry competition and costs involved. Perhaps US National Chow show...that one seems to be a lot more likely to be fun regardless of results.
