Any guesses on how big Sushi will be?

Hey guys!

At 8 weeks today, Sushi weighs exactly 9lbs. How big were your males at 8 weeks? Any guesses on how big he will get? Online weight calculators are saying he will be 27 lbs lol which I seriously doubt. Thanks!

Kodi at 7 weeks old was 10 lbs Kodi at 10 weeks old was 15lbs...at 12 weeks he was 22lbs at 18 weeks Kodi was 37 lbs.this is from our vet records...we have kept good records..lol.....He will be 3 on May 3rd..he is 100 lbs...so far...still gaining...Oh yeah I don't know what calculator you looked at but the one we used Put Kodi at 99 lbs...lol so it was very accurate we Him....

Eddie was 11 lbs. at 8 weeks...on his first birthday, he weighed in at 86 lbs...he's stayed between 83-86 since then...he will be 2 in May. You could probably triple the weight of the online calc. to get an idea of what Sushi will end up lol

My Chestnut (female sorry) was 11.44 lbs at 8 weeks. now at 10 months is 52.6 lbs

I'm guessing growth rates vary considerably from pup to pup. FWIW, here are the weights for my male smoothy. I was hoping he'd max out around 60 lbs., which is what both his parents weigh.

8 weeks: 11 lbs., 9.5 oz.
==>
10 weeks: ~15 lbs.
11 weeks: 16 lbs., 4 oz.
12 weeks: ~18 lbs.
13 weeks: 21 lbs., 2 oz.
14 weeks: 22 lbs., 6 oz.
15 weeks: ~26 lbs.
==>
17 weeks: ~29 lbs.

Chance, my new puppy, is just over 7 weeks. His unofficial weight is 12 lbs. (weighed on my bathroom scales)
I will get his weight at the vet office tomorrow.

Holly, my 8 week old female weighs 11¾ lbs. I've used http://www.puppychart.com/ before and it doesn't give totally ridiculous guesstimates of future weights. Currently, it's estimating my lil' one should top out at ~56 lbs.

For your 9 lb pup, it's estimating ~34½ lbs. Honestly though, I wouldn't use these weights as a target my dog should hit as different dogs have varying appetites and growth rates. You wouldn't want your dog to be heavy by carrying most of its weight as fat but rather have a dog which is lean and healthy.
