Thank you Christina chow mum. Just Lilly, Mike & me. Lilly has had lots of short walks today in between my cooking. Lilly is loving the smells, poor thing is on kibble & rice, I don't dare give her a nibble. It is duck for us this Thanksgiving...... Happy Thanksgiving to all.

Oh thank God your’e OK! HELLOOO! What a coincidence! I have missed you on the Forum lately and was about to PM you and Lilly to see if you are both all right bearing in mind the freezing cold, those piles of clothes and thinking you had both got lost somewhere in the woods! Nice to hear from you again! \:D/ \:D/

We don’t have Thanksgiving and frankly I am fed up to the back teeth with houses and balconies smothered in twinkling lights, TV and Radio ads pressuring us to buy any kind of techno gadget invented by man and it’s only 29/11! Zounds! Whatever happened to those Christmas surprises that we sat in the dark making all by ourselves??
I thought of Lilly and smiled yesterday and today coz Ming’s new trick is to sit watching me in the kitchen with his head impersonating a 6-0 6-0 6-0 tennis tournament! Ha ha. My privacy has been invaded!! #-o

We are both O.K. though Ming has his old “crusty haunches” problem again... i’m sure its because of the storms...so trying to sort it out with my Vet and his gay assistant Marco...god help us all..LOL!

Now, about that Duck...I tried to find a photo of a Chow chow with a Duck to post you but after several attempts at surfing, not only did I get all wet ha ha but all I could come up with was:

“Mr. Chow’s Peking Duck Spring Rolls, 54 Boulevard, California, L.A.” LOL.!

Don’t think Lilly would fancy those but I got the phone number if needed....
Take care of you all and have a happy peaceful time!!
Kisses and hugs! :x :x

Lilly & I are still here roaming the woods. We are going into some very frigid weather into the minus-0 F to the highs into the single digits. That should be very cold for Lilly too & hopefully she won't want to stay out very long and get directly to the "business."

I know what you mean about all the commercialism in Christmas. My son had to guard the PX on base for "Black Friday." People get really crazy buying things they don't really need. I will be making a couple of cake plates, from selected items from thrift stores & antique stores & put them together with a special adhesive & making cookies and scones to put on them to give to a few of my friends. I am ready to decorate & have my eye on a tree on our land to be cut down for our Christmas tree.

Thank you for thinking of me. Sometimes I just hermit myself (a Chow owner's trait). I do read the posts often. I see new people on our site and that makes me happy. There are more positive questions and answers & it is very interesting. I love your writing. :D
