what color will the puppies be?

hello, my uncle's chow is pregnant... she (cadie) is a red chow and he (lucky) is a cinnamon chow.... will the puppies be around the red cinnamon color or could they be any color? i'm also thinking about getting another chowling because charlee bear is my first chow and the best dog i have ever owned.

I think Yatta's post pretty much shows you cannot predict based on the parent colors. Each combination is possible in almost every scenario.

There are not really any dominant colors in Chows...its not like trying to predict in humans...blue eyes, blonde hair is recessive gene when compared to brown eyes, dark hair.

You will not be able to make a guess until the pups are born, unless there are several gens of the same color.

For arguments sake however, most often the female traits are more often apparent. Color, weight, etc.
