Giardia in Chows
Hello Everyone,
I had a cascading ceramic fountain outside that went well for a while. Then my Chows ended up with diarrhea. You do not want that in Chows with all that hair. What a mess. Then, I realized where they got it, the fountain. Birds were drinking out of it and I believe they carry giardia and the Chows would drink out of it too. I had to worm them and I shut down the fountain and put it away. I leave nothing outside on the ground that catches rain water either. Live and learn.
