Zoomies are the bestest!!!! such a cool dog! But, what does she have around her eyes??

It is probably just that they are leaking. It happens as they get older

Yes, with lighter dogs, especially white ones, their tears can stain the fur if it's not kept up with thoroughly and sometimes that doesn't help. A lot of American Eskimos have the tear stains.

Mr. N's zoomies increase as the temps get lower...but I can't encourage him too much when there's frost on the deck. I'm afraid he'll slip and get hurt. I can tell when he's building up to a zoomie - there's a look in his eye. It's so funny to see him go butt down and his eyes get that look I can usually hear him coming to get out of the way but it's amazing how he can avoid running into me or anything. Once he started a zoomie in the house & how he could make the tight turns around the furniture was pretty impressive!
I've been crazy busy with work and the local non-profit animal rescue that I have not been a good mommy in keeping both Shiloh and Mr. N brushed and cleaned up. I have some angel eye pads to clean his eyes but the stains never can be completely cleaned off. I have seen some ads about some liquid stuff you can give dogs (injest) to get rid of it but his vet didn't think it worked. He has some prescription eye drops when the tearings gets really bad (seasonal).
