Urgent transfer/pull needed for Chow in NC to MI

I was hoping to find a transport for this dog below. He is due to be PTS the morning of friday, July 30 before the shelter opens unless spoken for.

young, med male Chow mix

from Whiteville, NC 28472 to Traverse City, MI 49686 (or as close as I can get)

I have no way of getting this dog to me. I have contacted the people listed in this dog's note for help and still have not received any reply. I have contacted all involved listed in this dog's profile and am awaiting a reply, as well as TLC. I have also put in a request with Pilots N Paws.

If you can help in anyway, please contact me! He looks exactly like my Carter and I can't bear the thought of him being euthanized!

Misty,
There are transport groups that help pull dogs and try to find people to drive them to their destination.
I don't know the names of the groups but I believe Yahoo has an animal transport group.
I believe you'll need a rescue group to pull him if you can't go in person.
Try contacting a Chow rescue,I believe theres on in NC. Go to the Chows Needing Homes section here and get the phone #.
I'm in Georgia right now and if theres any way I can help transport him I will.

I just got a reply from someone in NC that can help pull and vet him. Once he's quarantined, I'll have 10 days to arrange transport for him. Thank you for the suggestions!
