muzzle

Re: muzzle
It depends if there's any need to. As for which muzzle, I've always been told that the "cage" type is kinder on dogs as it allows them to pant, rather than just strapping their mouth shut like a fabric muzzle does.

Re: muzzle
I don't recommend muzzeling a chow at all, unless the chow has a history of biting. I DO recommend learning how to keep your chow calm and patient in all circumstances.

Re: muzzle
I use the soft muzzle for Nahkohe. He does not like to be touched by vet, groomer, and I assume anyone else. It seem to give him plenty of mesh so that he can breathe okay. I wish muzzling was not necessary but it is.

Re: muzzle
I've had 6 Chows and only have had to muzzle Kai only at the vet. He is very protective of his body and is a fear biter.
I only muzzle him because I have to. My others have NEVER needed muzzling.
What are your circumstances? Why do you think you need a muzzle?
