How did you come up with you screen name?

Well, the title says it all?

Mine is pretty easy......if you own a chow you know EXACTLY how I got my name! I LOVE THEM!!!

So, how did you come up with yours?

I use Auddymay for almost everything on the web. My first name is Audrey, and I was born May 3rd. I needed a cybername, and it just popped in my head. I also use Audacious for some things, but not many. I like your new moniker!

"Tovya" is a family name - a great-aunt who died during WWII in Poland. I've just always felt "something" about the name.

I don't have that kind of imagination....first initial, last name. In the line of work I am in, I have too many userids and passwords to keep up with so I have to keep it simple

It took years of research and development but when we finely got it down to the 10 best names we hired a PR firm to take over, after many meetings and late hours they thought if we dropped the OE on Pekoe's name we could use Peks. We all thought that was great but needed more the name was lacking something, we thought for months but couldn't come up with anything, then one day one of the office staff said, so how is Jeff & Peks doing today, We all looked at each other with amazement and thought you know that might just be the right combination so after months of trying the name out we decided to stick with Jeff&Peks.

Yeah I know, but It sounded better then just saying I put my name and pekoes name together.

Another uncreative name- first initial, middle name, last initial & some numbers to make it both alpha & numeric. I got creative with my original email adress and now I'm stuck with pishpash. Rhymes with "Splish Splash" and I guess that will open up a music history thread.

My initials are PAW and when Jim and I make it official, I'll be PAWS.

For me, it was very uncreative. I just wanted to be a chow friend, but that was too long so I just said chowfrnd, then to replace all the space I saved by not using that "ie,"

I added 88 (my husband's favorite number).

Patti, I think it's soooo cool that your initials are PAW and will be PAWS... there's some cosmic force at work there!

Everything is Lucy with me. Lucy is my first APBT who is 11 now. My personal site is lucydog, my business is lucysfabrics, my cell phone plays "I Love Lucy."

Lucy has a lot of fans around the world and even fans among my customers! We get business mail addressed to her.

"Iliamna" is a place here in Alaska. I live on the Kenai Peninsula, and across the inlet there is a range of volcanic mountains (many still active). Mt. Iliamna is my favorite. It's a beautiful mountain with a main peak and three smaller peaks (the "sisters"). I used to live in a cabin on the bluff and the view from my big kitchen window was this mountain. I would sit there in the mornings, sipping a hot cup of tea and watching the eagles fly by with tMt. Iliamna as a backdrop.

When I started chatting online, I needed a handle or two. I was "DogTrainerGirl" for awhile (a nickname given me by a boyfriend years back), but I wanted something less definitive. So I picked Iliamna, and then added the "Quest" part. I figure that I'm always on a quest of some type .. maybe a quest for honesty, maybe a quest for knowledge .. maybe just a quest for a smile or a kind thought in the depths of the cyber world. One way or the other, the quest is always a part of my life (and I believe of all our lives).

So I became "Iliamna's Quest" many years ago. It speaks of my Alaskan upbringing and my enjoyment of words too .. *L* .. and as you probably know, I DO like to "talk" online!

Acually I play this game called Everquest. Well I played for 3 years and took a break, now I am getting ready to start on another server. My husband and I are gamers at heart. Samorra This is my redhead woodelf druid's name. How I came up with that name is my family just watched Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone and one of the spells they use is Alohamora. Also at the time I was working with a girl name Samantha. So I decided just to combine the two

I kind of consider her my muse because soon after making her my creative side opened up. All the art I do it totally self taught, and if I had more time I would love to take a class.

Sence then she is my alter ego and I always use the name for screenames. Acually I registered under Samorra and months before I started posting and never got a confirmation or something to that effect hence the name Samorrathis.

Thanks for the laugh. I think we must have used the same PR firm because they are the same creative geniuses behind my screen name too!! What a coincidence.

It's weird but this is the one forum I don't use my screen name on; but my actual first name. My screen name, (in case you see me other places is Nightcloud k'Leshya, or variations of such.)

And yes that means that Darkwind and Firesong's full names are Darkwind k'Leshya and Firesong k'Leshya.
