Mucky Pups!
Matilda and Maisie have been out in the garden. I popped to the shop and Fred let them out! He said they were bursting to spend a penny even though I had taken them into the garden 10 minutes before I went out. I was only away about a quarter of an hour.
Anyway, they were filthy. The garden is very wet and they had skidded round and would not listen or come in. We got them in - eventually - and I closed them into the kitchen with newspaper on the floor which soaked up the worst of the mud and wet. Poor pups - they were not too happy.
They started out nice and clean................
.......but ended up like this.
Next time I pop to the shop, I will have to leave Fred written instructions!! He can be so soft with them - no wonder his war dog used to dig out of his pen and go and find his room - he probably knew Fred was a big softy! Mind you, Fred's roomate was just as soft and used to let him in if Fred was not there and Fred would return to find Tex lolling on his bed.

Yep, they are right at that age, when mud and dirt and wet is FUN! I remember Dreamdancer at that age, he'd be filthy and Firesong who had been right out there with him would be clean, I didn't get it...

Oh Yes!! I am quite able to resist pleading, sweet little eyes! Just look at the state of the newspaper on the floor. I left them in the kitchen for about half an hour and the paper I had put down was soaking wet so I saved myself wet carpet and wet towels! They were perfectly happy when I let them into the sitting room - in fact, they just do not care a damn! It is water of a chow's back to them!!
As for chairs - they had better not get on any chair in that state 'else I will have their guts for garters!

Oh...the darling little girls! I think Fred was doing his best, but yes, next time you'd better leave instructions!
