Please meet Miss Matilda Fox.
We brought her home today and we are delighted and so is Mabel who got very excited when she saw her.
Matilda strutted round the house examining everything. She spent a penny on her paper and ate her lunch like a good chow baby.
Then she had a game will Mabel who made big goofy play signals to her and then she flopped down and had a sleep.

This last one is her first meal with Mabel. They were both good girls and ate their dinner up. :D

That last picture of your two lovely ladies having supper brought tears to my eyes, it's so cute. Matilda is very squishable and so lucky to have Mable show her the ropes of being a proper baggage.

Thank you everyone.
We are absolutely thrilled with her - she is such a cutie and last night before we went to bed, she had a zoomie! I cannot remember Milly having zoomies quite so young but she zoomed round for what seemed ages then collapsed in a heap on the floor by my bed.
She cried for about four minutes on Friday night when we went to bed - or rather when we switched our bedside lights off but we ignored her and next thing we heard baby Matilda snores.
This morning she got up at about 7.25 am. and no mess on the paper in our bedroom - I let her out straight away and she spent a penny twice and then a little bundle then in for breakfast.
Mabel is lovely with her and when she tried to get into Mabel's breakfast with her, Mabel gently pushed her out of the way with her big chow paw.
She has found the toy basket and pulled out toys - well the ones that caught her eye. She found one of Hector's balls and was thrilled then she found those squirrels. I think that is rather sweet because those squirrels were Milly Ching's favourites. By right one was hers and one was Mabel's but Milly claimed them. Zhuyo and Miss P.B. sent them to M & M several years ago for Christmas and they still have their squeakes. Matilda loves them and strutts round with them. She also loves the rope pulls that M & M did not use much.
Harry is not overly impressed but this morning he was calmer and went into the kitchen for his biscuit whilst the girls were having theirs - then he cleared off out.
Her breeder telephoned yesterday early evening to see how she had settled. I had sent her an email yesterday morning but she had not opened up her computer. She was quite upset when we brought Matilda out - she loves her puppies and has a lovely group of chows who all live in the house with her. All so well behaved and sociable and the pups loved all the big chows and vice versa.
As I type, Matilda is mobbing Fred who is desperately trying to get dressed. she is mobbing him and at the same time dragging one of the little blankets out of one of the beds. Milly's bed is still there ready for Matilda.
So all in all we are all happy in "Our House".

How wonderful and special little Matilda sounds. It dawned on me, your Harry is a Cheshire cat! I bet he is not grinning at the mo', though!

I'm sure Mabel will teach her all she needs to know about getting treats and
other special treatment! In no time, Miss Matilda will have you and Fred
wrapped around her little paw!!!
Enjoy your new baby, it will be so refreshing!
