....when one is on to the computer and suddenly hear a snore from under the settee....
....being woken up in the middle of the night by the slurping noise of chow drinking.....
....sitting on a wall smelling the scent of dusk with the furry one.....

The last thing I do before going to bet is to pat Leonora on the head and thank her for a good day we had. The first thing I do getting out of bed is to pat her on the head and tell her what a beautiful day we will have.


It's the little things that really make my heart warm and keep me sane.....

Happiness is....every moment with your chow babies.

I give Mia and Chutters huge huggies and kissies every morning when we wake up, and then I sing "You are my Sunshine, my only Sunshine..." to them.

Every night I give them both huge huggies and kissies and snuggle with them.

At least every morning, I put my computer down and go wake them up to kiss and snuggle with them and tell them how much I love them. (This also keeps them alseep all night - smart move on mommy's part, LOL!!)

Jeez - do people do this with their skin kids too????

My "skin kids" accuse me of never having worried about them as much as I do about Bramble. Hmmmmm not sure is the answere....its a close call.

Also a warm body pressed against your leg while you work.
The look back over the shoulder on walks...."Your still there aren't you?"
The "I will come...but not yet" look from the other end of the garden
And the whump of a huge hairy beast hitting the deck way harder than is good for any elbow

But most of all for me its when Bramble jumps up beside me on the settee and just stares into my eyes with my arms round her for no reason except she wants to.
