Not a baby anymore........but scary?

Apparently my Louie does not look like a baby anymore and looks scary now........

Yesterday Louie and I met my husband for lunch at Santana Row (Lots of shops and restaurants with outside dining). We were sitting there eating when I heard somebody behind me say, thats a chow, don't get near it, don't touch it. I turned around and saw 3 ladies, 2 middle aged and one older lady. The older lady seemed very scared of my Louie and was pleading with the other two not to get near him. I said (with a mouthful) if your talking about my dog, you can pet him. One of the ladies seemed thrilled and asked again if it was OK and I said sure, Louie say hi. She kneeled down and he walked up to her and she put her hands on either side of his face and he gave her a BIG purple kiss right up her face! She melted! The older lady said , "Oh My Goodness!" She looked liked she wanted to cry. (she was soooo cute!!) All 3 of them petted him and then went on their way with a new attitude about chows.

i wish yogi was this cool with people. Women he loves lets them pet him after a couple tries. Men not so much. He runs from em. I guess well have to keep trying!

However, don't cry Mom, he will always be your little baby boy - M & M are still my little love puppies.

great story!!- and very familiar to me. Wiley gets (2) 25 minute walks every day. we live in a small town in the mountains on a lake, and walk up to the lake around downtown every day. he gets constant attention, petting, for some reason teenage girls seem to like to bend down and kiss him in the face! little kids adore him and pet him freely. he takes it all in stride, i think he could do without it, but tolerates it very well.
