New Happenings at Chi-Chings house...

Although unexpected and unplanned really, I am proud to announce that Chi-Ching is going to have a new Chow girlfriend on Monday. Thanks to Rita(not sure of user name on this site) for sending me a craigslist ad. I was not planning at all on getting another dog but something about her just was right. She is about 3 months younger than Chi-Ching and she is a red chow. Her new name will be Mao Mao (Kind of like a cat 'Meow' but without the E sound) I should have pictures on Monday after I go and pick her up. I have a couple pictures of her that her owners sent.... but she looks older and more... dignified in person.

hmmm, she seems pretty bonded with the Yorgie/cross(?) why are they giveing her up? She is lovely and Chi-chi and your family will be lucky to have her.

Mao Mao has the cutest sweetest face ever. I hope they will be very happy together once she settles in. I am sure Chi-Ching will help her to feel at home. Congratulations.

Thanks everyone! She hadn't been with the Corgi for very long(less than a year I believe) and from what the owner said he was really hyper and kind of annoyed her. The Corgi has already found a new home...

The owners are moving and also the wife(primary dog caregiver) got a promotion and now has to travel alot and wants her dogs to get the attention they are used to. They are experienced chow owners.... having had 6 chows total prior to this one and they are very upset letting her go. She said once her kids are out of the house and her life slows down she would like to get another Chow.
