Butters Treasure

Post by TJordan »

Went for our walk at the park, but drove to the park because of the thunderstorm fast approaching. As we are heading back to the car Butters spots what he believes to be a treasure. So he drags me over to check it out. He sniffs it, slaps it then lays down beside it. It is a tennis ball. Mind you he has never touch a tennis ball before and he has had all colors and sizes. :| So he decides he just can't leave the park without his new treasure. He picks it up and heads for the car. Once we got to the car he dropped it, it bounced and rolled behind the front wheel of the car. After watching him for about 5 minutes, lunging from different angles, whining, trying to get that ball, I finally got the ball, He grabbed it and hopped right in the car. Once we got home, he would lay beside it, smell it, bite it. This morning he came in the living room and laid down in front of it so I couldn't see it.

He cracks me up. Never has had anything to do with balls. Now this is his new treasure and he is protecting it.!!

OMG that is one the cutest posts I have ever read! I can just picture him doing all that. It totally sounds like something Special would do. He'd had tennis balls too and is the same, won't touch them or anything. Maybe Butters tennis ball was chicken scented! :D

I guess Butters only wants the "aged" ones. They do say aged steaks are better tasting. Ming is not particular, all tennis balls are his favorites. He loves to play soccer with his. He picks up another toy in his mouth and then kicks the tennis ball all around the house. The really funny part is he "HAS" to have the other toy in his mouth. He'll find a ball that he has left somewhere and then run to the toy stash to get another toy to carry in his mouth and then run back to the ball and start kicking it all around.

Awww! Love this story. Anything they find or steal is so much better than anything we can buy them. Teddy has a toy box full of toys but everyday I find at least one shoe, slipper, throw pillow... in his bed. He doesn't chew them; he just has to have them!

Pekoe is the same way she dosn't care about toys and balls but one time in SF she found a tennis ball that she loved and carried it around all day, the reason was the tennis ball had been laying in fish guts, she found the ball at the harbor where everyone cleans their catch for the day. You better smell that ball and see what's up.

Very Sweet offer, but I am afraid that ship has sailed. I am sure K&K slobber is special. Seriously hasn't even looked at that tennis ball since the day after he brought it home. It took an act of congress to get that ball out from underneath my car and he doesn't even have the decency to pretend he still wants it!!! LOL
