Re: Should I trim his coat?
So I took my little guy to get his first groom session and the grommer informed me that the red tint on his paw and underneath his mouth was due to his saliva she recommended me to get a bib but I went to babyrus and nothing was there..... Any one have suggestions on where or just make my own? Thanks!

Re: Should I trim his coat?
Thank you once again.... Last question about grooming I promise =X So I am taking everything into consideration and I plan to take him to the groomers next week but I washed him early Tuesday since he was rolling in the mud at the dog park. I know I am not suppose to wash him that much but how do I ...

Should I trim his coat?
Hello, Me again!.... so last night it was very hot well it wasn't scorching but due to the quick rise in temperature my chow was very hot it seems. He came inside and didn't want to eat or anything just slept. I got worried and pointed a floor fan at his face so he can cool down. After the house was...

Re: Question for folks who use Flea/tick protection
My vet gave me vector 3d (i think that's the name I'll go home and check it) is this any good? This seems to copy his body since its an oil base product. After reading MissV's comment about fleas hiding in hear I don't think his eat is getting coverage. Should I switch to frontline plus or vector 3d...

Re: Eating its own poop...
Ok, so in attempts trying to remedy the poop eating. I am feeding him a small dinner and a big breakfast so he wont be so inclined to eat poop when he goes out. Problem now is that he refuses to eat his entire breakfast given this is only day 1 of his new diet any suggestion to make him finish his p...

Re: my chow inactive at home
I don't think my dog knows his name since I named him Po, after Kungfu panda, and it's so close to No which is confusing him? I don't know again this is all theories since dogs go more on tone but then again maybe confusing himself? I would always call his name then a command like "Po Come"...

Thanks!

Re: Eating its own poop...
Yeah, started yesterday. I put him on Orijen Puppy large breed kibbles. I will see how he goes on it and I will try to entice him with plain yogurt and cottage cheese in it. =] Eating the poop tho it seems that he is eating a stray cat's poop and it is impossible to stop the cats coming in since the...

Re: Help!!!.. my chow wont walk on leash..
update: yeah, this little guy is doing great will only fight to walk if we are going home or to the car. Otherwise everything seems to be good. The harness is a must since the collar he would probably of been choked to death by now. /sarcasm.... But he would resist so much at petstores since they us...

Re: my chow inactive at home
Thank you for the replies. I will try to clarify since I have a real keyboard in front of me now. Victory: I did not know that. I guess no more toys just treats for this little guy. Rory's Dad: I trained him to give me his paw which is good at now but I can't see him to master his name. I went to tr...

Should I clean for ears
Should I clean your chow's ears or let it be? I asked my vet this and he informed me that I should not clean it since the natural oils will protect his ears?
What do you do?
thanks!

Re: Best Dog Foods ?
Hello, I am currently feeding my chow pup (~6months) innova puppy large breed. He doesn't seem to like it since recommend amount for his size/month is 3.5cups a day. I would need to spoon feed him so he will finish it. So its almost done with Innova and heard really good stuff of Taste of Wild. I fo...
