Re: Armadillo
Sadly the ones I have seen are usually dead on the side of the road, so I don't know if they make any noise. They have a kind of armor like shell on them though. I wouldn't say furry.

Sorry for your loss. You might look into adoption, the chow rescue in NY just rescued a ton of Chows, and a few have had puppies. It is worth a look!

Re: Natural Born Killer
LOL Butters learned the hard way about frogs, he grabbed it and spit it out with his mouth foaming. Now he will just bark and paw at it until it can get somewhere safe. It seems to be anything smaller than him, because we see ducks all the time and he won't even look twice at them. Very Weird Indeed!

Re: Natural Born Killer
True Victory, I think worse than the clean up might be the violence in which the poor things are killed. It is just always so shocking. But it is a swift kill. Hugo, we do have Armadillo's although I haven't seen too many where i live, Actually the first time I saw one was on a trip to Arkansas! LOL...

Natural Born Killer
So yesterday I went home at lunch and DH was upset with the Butters who had cornered and promptly killed a baby bird. Last night I was out planting grass and I see another Baby bird on the ground, I tried to lure the Butters away, but the baby started making noise and Butters, Like a Flash, was off....

Re: Butters VS Trash Can Lid
Nope Karen, Nothing under the lid. The wind was blowing like crazy (as usual) and was re-arranging his backyard. He just simply wasn't happy about that. So he had to test the lid to make sure it wasn't moving on it's own. He also does this with anything he deems to be out of place! Mr. N and Butters...

Re: Took Bentley to the vet
Not sure there is anything short of surgery that will help with Hip Displaysia. My Butters has had both of his hips done now. I would say raise the money anyway you can because it is a painful way for them to live. I hope Bentley will be ok!

Butters does that but he never really tries to touch it, It is more of a stomp near things. we wouldn't want our paws to get dirty after all!

Butters Agrees 100% Henry, He has seen a few of those and doesn't know what to make of them. Chows are watchers, I am amazed that they watch the sky so much!

Laser Therapy
Anyone here tried Laser Therapy on their dog. Butters vet has suggested it to Help MR. Butters out with his muscle, scar tissue and inflamation.
