You gave her happiness for a little while - take comfort in that.

What a lovely way of putting it.
Eventually all your differences will have been sorted. She will get used to Mike's bigness and now, as you say she likes his back and head rubs.
Bless her.

You will always remember and you will always miss her - but - the memories become happier, the sadness a little less painful.

Bless her - poor little love - maybe it is just as well you don't know what she has gone through - you might get too angry.
I think she is a lucky little chow chow lady to have found somebody with the patience and love to deal with her.

The memories are always there and always will be. :) We still miss Milly and Mabel and I have a little bit of their fur in my jewellery box. I don't know which is which now - doesn't matter - they came as a pair. :) I am just happy we had their love and companionship whilst they were here with us.
