Help - who to spay with???

Help. It is time to spay Mia, and I know that chows need isofluorine. I have the choice of using my vet who does maybe 2 spays a week, or a place that does 40 a week and specializes in doing just spay and neuters. (They are doing their 50,000 spay/neuter surgery this week.) My concern is whether I s...

Ah, little Mia is almost 7 months already...how time flies. Rowlee, you could be right. She really doesn't ever go into the dining room. When she was little, she had an accident in there as well. Ugh...there are four or five spots there now. Jeez, when I go back to work, I am probably going to have ...

Kiwani, I also use Solid Gold Hundenflocken (sorry, got a broken leg and don't have the energy to crutch over to the kitchen to check the spelling). I tried to do a lot of research and only ended up being confused and crazed. Finally, landed on Solid Gold and decided that since many chow chow breede...

Mia is having accidents

Hi Everyone! Sorry I have been away so long. I have been keeping up with the threads, but getting home so late, I don't have the energy to write. Recently, I broke my leg, so I find I am having some extra time. Since Mia was 8 weeks old, I have kept her in the bathroom or crate while I worked. Now, ...

Actually, passing water is perhaps the most important, so I am glad he did that.

I agree. At the very worst, you had a specialist say nothing was wrong, than waiting for a vet to send you to a specialist to say nothings wrong.

Go right to the top.

I am not sure what to say.

If he can't go, maybe the vet could give him something mild to make him go.

Have to taken him to his favorite pee & poop spots?

Maybe, give him more time than usual to pick his spot and feel comfy going.

I hope someone else can help.

Mia started out in the master bathroom because it was tiled and we didn't want any puppy accidents. Since, she has never had an accident, (except for the submissive/excitement peeing, which we are working on,) I have finally decided to put her on the bed. The bed is too high for her to get up, even ...

Aw Lily - that's too funny.

Mia will stop anything she is doing, (usually in the middle of the road as we are crossing), to attent to licking her paws. And, when I tell her to stop, she cocks her head at me like she can't figure out why in the world I would tell her no.

Oh so chow-like.

Oh, Mia must be a little Pooh Bear. She's got her little snout in the air so high, I am surprised she can see where she is going. I started to put a little chlorophyll in her water, you would have thought i was trying to poison her. She looked up at me, as if to say, "Feed that to the peasants!...
