I just love love love love LOVE Chow Chow puppies! I miss how little Holden was as a puppy and that he would lay in my lap and I could carry him everywhere, but I do not miss the teething stage. I lost many a good pair of shoes :( and my dining room chairs and couch still show the damage that little...

I have never had a Chow Chow do that, but my sister's Yorkie and Chihuahua do all the time...

I'm along the same lines as Judy. If I happen to get a kiss from Holden (even if it was accidental) I'm thrilled!

I wish Holden would sleep until 10. If I'm not up by 8:30 on my day off then he's wimpering, whining, deliberately walking all over me in bed, or licking my hand to wake me up.

Tucker at ideal weight was about 63-65 pounds (probably could have been 70 pounds and would have looked great as he was taller and longer)

Holden is smaller and his weight ranges between 50-55 pounds. He usually goes up more in the winter and down in the summer.

Holden doesn't sleep at the bowl but he gets water all over the place when he drinks. Sometimes I think he gets more on the floor than in his mouth. Then he leaves a trail of water droplets when he walks away. Drives me nuts! We also keep the toilet lids down. I used to keep bleach tabs in the toile...

Mine will go a day or so without eating but other times he eats several times a day. Unless yours is losing weight, I wouldn't worry too much. Just keep an eye on it.

They are both blue. When I was growing up we always had black or blue Chow Chows.

They were the only boys in the litter and were both blue. The other puppies were all female and all cream. I thought that was so odd that the colors worked out in that way.
