Tucker used to get almost like a calcium build up on the top of his nose which looked like crusty scabs. The vet gave me some cream that I put on it twice a day which softened it up and then it would fall off. Maybe it's something similar to that.

Have you tried regular cat litter? I don't know much about these.

Holden used to do that when he was younger. Now he will usually be in the same room as me or in the next room. He doesn't need my constant attention anymore, but he still wants to be close by.

Due to the previous lack of care, it may make Bear seem older than what he is. Hopefully with a little time, care, and attention, he will perk up and you won't think he seems so old anymore.

Holden's 5.5 now and still never makes a peep other than barking at noises outside. He's a very quiet boy.
