hes been crated since he was 2 months old every night, same spot, same crate. This came out of no where

Last night I put yogi in his crate for bed, and he started wigging out. Head butting the cage, and wouldnt stop barking. I figured he had to poop i let him outside he does his business. I put him back in. Nope same thing. I said lets leave him for 20 mins well see if he stops. Nope just kept wigging...

Yogi doesnt have the fluffy fur like most chows. But his parents were super fluffy short chows. Dunno how he didnt come out like them lol

We have never cut his hair, except under his belly where he had surgery they had to shave it a little.

Started him on Innova and just switched Yogi to Wellness

innova gives ur dog slightly softer stool than other brands. I think its normal. My yogi LOVED Innova. I just recently put him on wellness. But the innova worked great too.

My yogi is the same way, he doesnt like too many other dogs. He always snaps at them. This female dog next door which is a pitbll/lab mix he loves, but most males he hates. I dunno what to do either.

could it be that yogi is protective of his home? My cousin suggested taking them to a neutral spot and seeing what happens.

its more of a Growl Snap at their fur or leg, and they either jump back so he misses or yelp if he grabs it.
