your chow is just beautiful,do you know that you should brush and rake her.the rake helps to get the loose under coat out.I brush with a pin brush(with no bubbles on the tips) then I rake them.I brush 2-3 times a week.its a great bonding time for us! good luck with her.

I've had chows for 23 yrs and my last boy was put on dermaxx for the last 4 yrs of his life because of severe arthritis.it helped him so much to have a better life.if its long term the liver and kidneys need to be checked every 4-6 months with a blood test.good luck!

I had amale chow who had acl and he got plates in his knees.one got infected 3 years later and had to be removed.he was getting sores on the leg that was infected. he had alot of medical problems thru his life but lived to be 10 years old. good luck!
