I too loved the sweet smell of Nikki it was always a fresh smell. My sister use to say how come your dog doesn't have that doggie odor smell like most dogs do??? It's funny I hadn't thought about that in a while but you brought back that sweet memory today!

Bella had tummy problems and I now also give her bison and she has the same skin issues chows have but all is good with bison so far and she eats twice as much as Nikki did so auto delivery is nice

The ointment I used was an antibiotic ointment from the vet. Always check with the Vet before putting anything in your chows eyes. Good luck with your appt.

My chow at 9wks was told the same thing, she out grew it but we did put ointment in her eye while it was irritating to her . Try when she seems tired to do it , there might not be so much energy in her then and have something to distract her if you need to. Hope shes doing better.. keep us posted.

Duke looks just like Bramble from Scotland when she was a puppy if you put bramble in the search box on the right under the photos up top back in 2009 there are puppy photos of bramble ( sirchow) and boy I think you two look alike! maybe same breeder????
