Wow...this trainer doesn't know a thing about chows!!!!

Good for her!!! Our Loki, who is 11, has severe arthritis but still manages his daily walk. Our other chow, Frisco, is a bit younger and much more energetic but always makes sure he doesn't stray too far from Loki. It is so hard to see them struggle.

We rescued our first chow, Loki, ten years ago. A year later we rescued another chow, Frisco. Thanks! That is a good idea. The other day he was panting so bad I rushed him to vet. We were concerned it was bloat but fortunately it wasn't. Vet gave him Pepcid and additional pain meds and he was better but still panting from time to time. I will start keeping a record

We all know that chows get little respect. Imagine my surprise when I opened the newspaper on Friday and there on the cover of the weekend magazine was a full picture of a gorgeous chow!!
