Re: Heartworm Meds

We go year-round here in Texas. Bear and Samantha use Heartguard. Ping uses Revolution since she decided she didn't want to chew HG anymore. And Tod gets Iverheart at his vet. It's a pill and he takes it without a problem. Of all the brands, Revolution is the most expensive and the Iverheart is the ...

Sorry, I didn't pay that close attention to her nose. I was in Chow overload and couldn't believe I was seeing so many Chows at one time.

Re: Nat Geo and chows

I've been to DogTown and loved it! I spent about a week on the Best Friends grounds (rented a cabin) and volunteered everyday. I worked with the dogs everyday and the cats and horses on one day each. I was allowed to work with some of the "more difficult" dogs since I told them I have Chow...

This is just horrific!! I viewed the video and noticed another one where a lady was reunited with her two dogs that she feared had died in the fire. We're all sending prayers across the miles. Stay safe.

Good thing that dog picked Smiths and not Vonns...that same bone would cost over $10 at Vonns. #-o

Re: Chows at Westminister dog show

I had the pleasure of seeing this champion up-close and personal last Friday when I transported a little Chow boy to Linda at West Texas Chow Rescue. That's her husband Mike in the video. I just have to add...their place is like Chow (and other dog) HEAVEN!!! I melted when she let me hold a puppy. :x

Very nice work!! I can't stand sewing by hand. I would've made the bandanas by cutting them out with pinking shears and called them good.
Forgot to add that Maya looks adorable in her new bandana.

Re: I have no life

I'll join your "no life" club. I just spent all morning trying to erace the fact that 4 canines live in this house. The rest of the day will be spent looking for a new home with features that are "dog friendly". I was telling my boss the other day that I was concerned that I'm be...

Re: Chicken Jerky Treats--FDA Warning

I feed mine Happy Hips and Vitality chicken strips and haven't had any bad effects so far. I hate to give them up since my pack loves them so much. Sammy won't even eat the treat that everyone gets in the morning anymore...she insists on getting chicken strips instead. What Sammy wants, Sammy gets. ...

Glad to hear Carter is home and resting. I took the collar off of Bear as much as possible too. It was just him and I at the time and it was easier to keep an eye on him then. Get well Carter and we can't wait to see your new beautiful eyes!!

Re: europhian eyes

Are you talking about entropion? That's where the eyelids turn inwards and the lashes irritate the eye. It can eventually lead to blindness. A good vet should be able to tell by looking at the eyes. I think some puppies will eventually grow into their heads so the symptoms can possibly go away witho...
