Re: Raw Food Diet?

How is Yoshi doing? My boy Dim Sum had a lot of digestive issues too when he was a puppy. I never could find the right formula that would result in normal stools. He would be okay for awhile, and then he would have diarrhea. As I recall, he didn't really settle down until after 18 months or so. He i...

Re: adopting outside of the US

I know it means a lot of stress for the dogs to travel, but it's still better than having no family, right? I've spent 3 months in India and the dog I have now is from there. Anyhow, what I want to say is: she really didn't like the journey, but it was worth not living on the streets anymore. With ...

Re: Bells on the door

I don't have a bell on the door; anytime Dim Sum wants to go out, he just comes to me and taps me with his paw.

Re: Chows and toys

Dim Sum loved his squeeky toys as a puppy, but he is grown up now and no longer plays with toys. He prefers a playmate...preferably a black dog. :P

Re: Do you trust your Chow off-leash?

Dim Sum is very independent. I can't really let him off-leash unless it is at the enclosed dog park. A few times I have let go when he is around another dog, but even that is not enough to hold his interest long enough...soon after he goes his merry way. Recalling only works in the house, not outside.

Dim Sum: New Pic Added 10/30

I joined a couple of years ago, but for whatever reason never became active here. Anyhoo, my boy Dim Sum is now five-and-a-half. Here are a few pics of him. :D Up on the grooming table http://i489.photobucket.com/albums/rr253/pistoncupchampion/100_4191JPG-1.jpg http://i489.photobucket.com/albums/rr2...

Re: Best Dog Foods ?

Have you looked at Muenster natural dog food? It's what I feed my two dogs and its very good for them and they love it. I believe they have a website if you want to learn more. Good luck :) I looked at the Muenster Milling site. Their dog food has chicken meal as the first ingredient, but beyond th...
