Yep we can with Both our chows...we can be in the front of the house and they stay right with us...walk down the street they are right by our side...At dogs park when called they come right to us...we were on them at a very young age...Actually our Collie and Airedale also can be off lead...we just ...

Yep our 2 chows are sloppy drinkers also..our male looks like he has taken a bath after he drinks and our female is no better..lol..And our Airedale gets his whole beard wet and drips it everywhere,And i bet everyone thinks a Collie is such a regal drinker WRONG...lol he makes the worse mess..he has...

Not our chows they are very very active...they play hard..run..chase each other..They have a Airedale and a Collie to play with so they have tons of fun...lol...

What does she weigh?..Our Mia is about 50-55 lbs and she is over 22 inches at the shoulders...she gets about 3-4 cups a day she is a ball of fire tho she has 3 brothers to Keep her busy and very active.Kodi is over 25 inches at the shoulders 85 lbs + he gets an east 5 cups a day some days more...he ...

I was told they can fill out till 3 yrs of age...Our female is almost 3 and she is a good 50-55lbs our Male is a good 85lbs plus he still IMO needs to gain another 10-15 lbs to fit him if that makes sense he is very tall for a chow and still can feel his ribs comfortably well so he can still gain..h...

We have Mia she is about 55lbs and Kodi he is a good 85 + lbs and Mia plays rough..she takes him down only because he lets her...lol...But ive seen him get mad he runs her over like a freight train...lol...I don't want to make people take this out of content but our chows I don't think have a chance...

Our Male collie and Male chow were bad when younger Food started it...Now they might give each other a look Sometimes Kodi the chow will snap at him...but we jump on it quick WE ARE THE ALPHA dogs...My wife and I and we put them in there place FAST,..my wife even pushes there buttons...they know bet...

That is cute...Kodi only does this after he eats...lol..no other time...when he is happy to see us he will paw us...thats funny he come up to you and hits you with his Paw...lol...

Our Male chow Kodi after he eats goes to get a stuffed toy not all the time but he does do it a few times a week he will bring it to us and he will let us take it/give it to us,we give it back to him he and he will carry it around for a little bit...Anybody elses chow do this, is this anything speci...

Me I would call the authorities get that dog out of there I wouldn't want that person as my future sister in law how would she treat your kids down the road...If I saw a person doing that to an animal I would have animal control on them so fast there head would spin....If I was you I would do someth...

My Wife grew up with Chows...Parents raised and showed them she had them all her life mostly When we met she said she wanted a chow again I said ok i never had one they look cool...I said i want what i had growing up we had a collie an Airedale i loved him so i said we can get a chow and an Airedale...

Our Female chow is like that too very high prey drive..Our male is well ok i see it its no big deal.He could careless he is more interested in guard duty watches and stares out the gates looking for anyone who shouldnt be there...At nite he doesnt even sleep lays in the hall way or between the front...

I agree 100% Cindy is a great person and knows alot about our chows....We got Kodi from her..he is ...

My Wife was raised with Chows Her parents showed them ..She agrees 100% our Airedale is very very stuborn compared to chows...Dont get me wrong our chows are stuborn..LOL...But you havent met Bear...LOL....

Actually the Rottweiler has more Bite then a Pitbull...there are a few more dogs that do have more then a pitbull I forget them all...the reason the Pitbull is that way its a terrier There Stuborn all terriers are...I have an Airedale trust me they can be stuborn..lol..

I dont know how Big the Pit is or How big your Chow is...But i know Pits can be dangerous...There tough dogs...I know my female wouldnt have a chance with one Maybe she would i dont know..Our Male might have a better chance he is alot bigger then her......Im glad to see yours made it out ok..without...

I don't know were you located but why not Rescue a Poor chow...there are so many that need a home.We Got Kodi pictured below he was 7 weeks old when we picked him up..From chow chow rescue of NY...he is 2 yrs old now and a great DOG..we love him lots..

Correct me if I'm wrong but one of the issues with doing it so young is that the dog sticks in puppyhood phase longer and doesn't allow to mature right or normally or something. Kodi in the picture below was done at like 7 weeks old he is a Rescue..He is not inmature at all...not stuck in puppy hoo...

Our Male chow sleeps all day but is up all night we say that he is on duty...LOL...our female chow she is so opposite we call her the walmart greeter she would let a burglar in show them were the goods were licked them wag her butt...give them her i love you eyes lol...what the hell happened to her ...

Ive heard some chows can forget ...kinda almost like alzheimer's i could be wrong i would take him to the vet..maybe he isnt feeling good...is he eating ok? I think something is off...Has it been Hot?
