Re: JR' s Anniversary

Thanks everyone! The best part was having JR for my head nurse last summer when I was so ill. His care was so good that here we both are celebrating his big "gotcha" day. Can you believe that he also doesn't have much grey on his chin and he still struts his "stuff" by giving poo...

They had found him near a dumpster in the not so great part of Cleveland and I had just...

Cheyenne and a towel

When my dear sweet Cheyenne was 1st rescued and such a mess, I went to wipe her with a towel after it had rained and she ran like the dickens and started to shake really badly. Since she had been abused for almost 4 years I figured that she must have been hit with a towel. And even though 3 1/2 year...

Fireworks and thunderstorms in my house is pretty ugly! Poor JR has dug through one couch and part of another and 2 chairs over the years. I do not like to sedate him but I have no choice anymore and give him 1/2 of ACE before the holiday fireworks and if there is a really bad storm. He is almost 13...

Re: Does your chow chase butterflies?

Going back to a post of mine a couple of years ago.....My dear sweet Cheyenne chases Chow Fairies. I think they look like a cross between a butterfly and a bird...however, I will never really know, They keep Cheyenne busy watching and pacing for hours and she seems to see whole towns with Chow Fairy...
