I think chows know how to co-exitst w/ other kept animals. My LEO would want to chase after a stray cat, but not pull on leash against my neighbour's cat. She would ignore horses, police horses we've met, maybe because they are way bigger than her Chows are v. intelligent animals.

This morning we went for our regular walk and met a 5m/s old Australian Shepherd mix w/ her dad. It was a bit late, and we were the only ones there.
