Yes you can post photos that are hosted on Flickr. Simply grab the image URL. Adding country specific threads might be a bit much, however if there are enough requests for an international section then that might make more sense to have a category where international topics can come together. I think we would need more requests to make sure there is demand for it. Thanks.

Hey everyone, Looks like the forum upgrade was successful. We went from PHPBB 3.0.4 to 3.0.8. There were no issues over the past week and the spammers and spam bots don't seem to be getting past the new Q&A (anti-spam) portion in the user registration form. One of the new features is limiting the amount of links in a post. I set this to 2, so if there are more than 2 links in a post then it will require approval. I'm not sure what the other conditions are for post approval. I'll look into it more over the weekend.

I'll see if that's an option. I'm planning on doing more work on the forum this weekend. It seems like the new registration spam questions that I setup instead of the standard CAPATCHA word has cut back on a lot of the bot/spam registrations.

Also, there are a few display issues that I need more time to debug, but I won't have time until next weekend. The upgrade is complete. It looks like everything went smoothly, however I haven't checked every aspect so if you notice anything that appears odd or broken or does not funciton as intended, please post it here and I'll look into it as soon as I can.

I'm going to be working on the forum upgrade over the next few hours. The forum message boards will be turned off until the upgrade is complete. You will nto be able to post during this time. I'll post an update once I'm done.

Updated topic list back to 25 for now. I've found that the upgrade with a few mod add-ons will help curb the most of the spammers. I'll schedule some time to work on the upgrade and anti-spam measures over the weekend.

FYI I've temporarily increased the topic list count as I'm cleaning up inactive users, aka spammers. For some reason the topic list count is also used for the inactive users list count which there are thousands and thousands, so this is making it easier to mass delete them. I'll change it back to 25...
