It will surely goes back in no time. On the other hand, we are still dealing with Doppler's coat which seemed blowing again which we thought stopped already last month.

I understand for those who moved on when their beloved chow passed away. We have a beloved sheltie before Doppler, she passed away last year and it's devastating. So sorry to hear about your young pup. I don't have any experience so I can't help, but from the above discussion you might need to talk to you vet, or to an expert if this could be prevented from getting worse.

I agree on just letting him to bark until he learn to settle, unless there will be issue around. You can try to put on a video camera and record the room to see what makes him barks so you can somewhat figure it out without physically there.

Nice to meet Kokoy, he's one sweetheart! Our Doppler still chews but greatly lessen by now, they will surely outgrow it. You just have to consistent and I know you would.

The TOTW with fish oil formula works for my cousin's malamute foster. Here we add coconut oil on Doppler's meal to help on his dry skin plus he's getting good brushing everyday.

At this time and behavoir, Doppler wouldn't walk without leash unless he's in our yard or at our neighbor's larger fenced yard where he and their JRT & dachshund can play and run together.

So sorry to hear about your Chandler going through, maybe ask your vet for any heart problem. Hope its nothing or not so serious, panting could be hard breathing when swallowed anything or something that distract her breathing.

Doppler have slight smell and he's getting lots of brush everyday. I remember my friend's sheltie who's always at the groomer but have some smell despite of overall grooming, have no infections on the mouth, skin or rear. They later found out he has some intestine problem and the smell pass through ...

Introducing our newly adopted chow Doppler, he's 6 months old. He's our second dog after we lost our boxer Railey last year, we miss him very much but having Doppler never been better! He's one sweet and amazing dog.
