Re: Amber & Possibly the Worst Santa Ever
Amber is such a cutie, you can really see the mischief in her eyes. Cocoa won't be going to see Santa this year, last year she was at the end of her leash trying to get away from him so I decided to skip it this year. She will of course still get a stocking full of treats!

Judy, I'm sorry to hear about Laddie Dawson, sounds like he had a good life with your daughter though.
Haven't seen much of you on here lately, how are the lovely Miss M's?

Re: Simba's Neutered Today!
I don't think you will have to worry about him wanting to play or even eat tonight, he'll probably still be quite groggy from the anesthetic. The worry is more during the days to follow when you are supposed to keep them calm for the stitches to heal and they get other ideas - wanting to run and pla...

Re: BED OR NO BED?!?! That is the question.
Don't worry if she prefers the floor to her bed. If you take a look around the forum I think you will find that the majority of the chows prefer the wood or tile floors for sleeping on, particularly when it is warm outside. Cocoa was 8 weeks when I got her and it was December. I didn't crate train h...

Re: My New Boy coming home next week
He is a gorgeous black boy and he is probably going to be on the larger end of the scale if he is already 34 pounds at 15 weeks. enjoy.
Christina, you have it backwards, 1 kilo = 2.2 pounds so it is more like 15 - 16 kilos.Christina wrote: 1lb = 2.2 kilos

Re: CHOWS FOOD
Cocoa is like Lilly, she definitely has more of an appetite when the weather gets cooler.
Cocoa is on Taste of the Wild which is a grain free food but personally, with all of the things on the news lately about the arsenic levels in rice, I would limit the amount of rice in your chow's diet.
