Taz - I may be wrong but it seems that alot of Chow pups tear when they are young. Our Bear did that until she got older. It dose not look like entropion because the eye is wide open. Mai Tai on the other hand, had severe entropion where her eye was closed. We have since had that corrected.

Judy - Do you not have a rule here. They're not DOGS they're CHOWS. I thought you taught us that there is a difference. (Just poking fun) I love the pictures. I wish we could have a partner for Mai Tai - but she's a handfull by herself.

Your welcome to anything I post here of course. I'll also look around my collection for more. Is there any special theme or subject you would like in particular? Mai Tai is not the most cooperative model so most of the pictures I take are by luck.

Our Bear's dad Ming was 80 lbs but her mom was only 40. Bear and Mai Tai (both females) are around 40 lbs. I think the boys seem to double the girls in weight - but I'm not saying that's the rule. Just seems to be common.

Other people (besides Martha) are known for Chows. Such as President Calvin Coolidge - who had a Chow named Timmy in the White House 8) - and Sigmund Freud. Our Bear's tongue was dark blue at birth and her gums were also black. Mai Tai on the other hand has a lighter blue tongue and pink gums. I wonder if the reason is that Bear was black and Mai Tai is blonde/cream?
